F.A.Q.
- How do I make a change to my registration?
All members can edit their personal information via www.ams-web.org at any time.
- If I am a presenter, do I have to register?
Yes. ALL participants must pay the applicable registration fees, including workshop speakers, paper presenters, session moderators and conference committee members.
- What’s the last day for conference registration?
Delegates can register for the conference up until 24 hours prior to the start of the conference. Walk-up registration is available and walk-up delegates are welcome.
- Are the conference proceedings included in my registration?
Conference proceedings will be published at the AMS website. Access to the Proceedings comes along with an AMS membership.
- Can I pay by purchase order?
Payment by credit card is strongly recommended. All purchase orders must be submitted with ample time for AMS to bill your department and for your company to issue payment in full before June 23, 2010. Walk-up registration can be completed with a Visa or Mastercard.
- I have special dietary needs; how can I request special meals?
We are happy to honor your special dietary needs. Please indicate your request on your registration form prior to the conference. All special dietary requests must be made prior to the conference itself; requests made on site may not be honored.
- What if I’d like to bring a guest?
Guest tickets are available for both the full conference or the social events only. You can pay for your guest ticket in advance or purchase them at the conference.
- I need a Visa to travel. How do I obtain a letter of invitation?
Complete the Letter of Invitation form here and email it to the Conference Registrar to m.marin@ieseg.fr
Please be informed that you will have to pay the registration fee in advance before you will receive a letter of invitation. As visa requirements can take several weeks, attendees should be advised to apply no later than 2 months prior to the conference.
- What is the recommended attire for the conference?
Conference attire will be casual and comfortable. Please note, however, that the weather in Northern France in July is usually sunny and approximately 20-27°C/68-81°F. For the occasional rain showers or thunderstorms, we suggest bringing an umbrella. Temperatures can fall in the evening. Thus, a light pullover or jacket may be useful if you are used to a warmer climate.
